What is Calico Connect?
Calico Connect is an app that that allows you to share read-only digital asset data from supported exchanges, wallets, or other digital assets.
What type of data does Calico share from my wallet, exchange, or other digital asset provider?
The data Calico shares with the financial institution you choose for connection is read-only, digital asset transaction and asset balance data.
Who has access to my data?
Calico collects only the data you’ve chosen to share and only share data with the institution you’ve chosen to share with.
What data does Calico collect?
Calico collects only what is needed for the service to provide you a streamlined experience. This may include: • Your name, email, and phone number • Asset balances • Asset transactions
Does Calico have access to my credentials?
No. We only have read-only access to exchanges and wallets you connect to your account.
Can Calico trade or buy digital assets?
No. Calico Connect only shares the data that you permission to the financial institution that you choose. The connection to your digital asset wallet, exchange, or other digital asset provider is read-only and does not include trading permissions.
Do I need to create a Calico account?
Calico creates an account for all users when they first share digital asset data through the Calico platform. This account is necessary to save and view your account selections. At any time, you may also disconnect or connect more accounts.
How do I close my Calico account?
To close your account, email Calico at support@getcalico.com
How do I revoke access to my data?
You may disconnect your data by going to Settings in Calico Connect and selecting the account you’d like to disconnect from data sharing.
I'm having trouble with verification links. What do I do?
If you have problems with verification links, please note the following: 1. The verification link is only valid for a short time before it expires. 2. The link must be opened on the same device (i.e., the work computer) where the connection was initiated. Opening it on another device causes the process to fail.
What do I do it One Time Password (OTP) is failing?
When attempting to connect your account, if your digital asset provider uses OTP during authentication and it repeatedly fails, you may be able to request SMS-based OTP instead of app-based OTP. This alternative method may be more reliable for completing the authentication and establishing the account connection. When prompted, look for an option such as “Send code via SMS” or “Use another method”.
What do I do if I have trouble authenticating a personal account on a work device?
When connecting an exchange or other digital asset provider, you may face issues when using an authenticator app if you use a personal email for multi-factor authentication while using a work device. This is because some authentication processes may use the following for additional verification: • Location • Browser • Device To successfully complete connecting: • Forward the verification email to your work email address. • Open the verification link from the same device, browser, and network where you initiated the OAuth flow via Calico.

When copying API keys, be sure to copy the entire returned string as is and paste into Calico Connect. Use the API key name as the API Key in the Calico Connect widget.
